So what is up with this card?
Some article on CNet mentioned this. I found some info at ATI http://www.ati.com/na/pages/products/mac/radeon_ve_mac/index.html

Looks like it is:
A) As fast as a regular RADEON
B) Supports dual displays (better than a regular RADEON)
C) Is PCI (it seems there is a PC/AGP version)
D) Is cheaper than the regular RADEON

So, I guess my questions are - is it all it appears to be?

Thanks,

I really want to know what was given up to get the cut in cost. I would think Mag might have some already. He does get them before the masses doesnt he? Hopefully he will enlighten us.

Perhaps it takes less hardware to accomplish duel displays on Macs (a computer that has always supported multiple displays) as opposed to PC that frequently need to be tricked into two monitors.

Or maybe they're just trying to increase their Mac marketshare...
