got 'em. Moved them into the Formac folder.

thanks!

has K installed and tried them under 9.1 yet in his S900?

just curious. I want someone else to be the pathfinder this time. I'm too jammed for time right now to take an S900 down.

He's aware of them. I don't think Formac bothered to say exactly what they are for. I read somewhere last night that they were to get compatibility with the 2001 Macs.

The PF3+ 32MB is in my PTP which is with Bob at Initio. He is working on the dual Miles2 striped RAID problem with Write-through disabled. I have the latest Formac drivers and an OS9.1 CD on order but no PTP. Don't want to rush him though. I saw him at Macworld SF, described the problem, and he wanted the PTP right after Macworld. k

excellent. You can't beat that with a stick. We should buy Bob a hooker. Or send Darin over.

Breeden just posted a response from Formac about the new driver and ROM.

While I was showing Bob at Initio the dual Miles2 setup with four X15s sitting externally on their workbench but connected internally to the dual Miles2, a couple of other engineers wandered over just to see the performance of the X15s in a striped RAID. I ran the ATTO 8MB test for them while Bob was elsewhere getting ready for a meeting. I don't think they have any X15s there because they were mighty curious and suitably impressed. k
