SATA Hotswap Trays and Bays
Cremax Hotswap Bays and Trays. These come in three different packaging:
- Complete Bay+Tray - This is the mobile rack plus drive
tray together. Comes in standard (LED Lights) or LCD (LCD Display)versions. Includes
drive and bay installation screws plus tray locking key.
- Tray Only - LCD and Standard LED versions. Includes screws.
- Replacement Bay Only - Drive bay without tray. This is a
replacement part. Standard LED or LCD versions.
- Trayless Bays - complete bay that accepts bare drives without
any tray. Accepts SATA drives. Insert the drive - connector end first, close
the door and it makes the connection. Open the door it hands you the drive.
Note: LCD trays will not work in standard bays. The reverse does work, standard trays work
perfectly in LCD bays. So if you have an LCD equipped enclosure you can purchase additional
LCD or standard trays. If you have a standard tray equipped enclosure you can only use
standard trays.

Old Style SATA Hotswap Trays and Bays
The old style (in use 2005 and earlier Burly) generally look the same
except
are
over
an
inch longer than new style. These trays have an interface board in the back with
a
separate
connector
to connect to the bay. (new trays have a small opening for the drive's connectors
to interface directly to the back of the bay) Picture to right shows rear view
of old
style versus the current version which is listed above.

- Complete Bay+Tray - This is the bay unit plus drive
tray together. Comes in standard (LED Lights) - LCD no longer available (LCD
Display)versions. Includes
drive and bay installation screws plus tray locking key.
- Tray Only - LCD and Standard LED versions.
Includes drive screws. No cross compatibility between standard and LCD.

Burly Enclosures
Burly steel enclosure - bare, black in color unless otherwise noted.
Comes with installed power supply, fans and ext. power cable. Does not
include drives, mounting brackets, data cables,
bridges or any other internal or external components.

FANS - original replacment and high quality upgrade replacments
- MAP-CASEFAN - 80MM, 2700 RPM original replacement fan is drop in
replacement
for
2,3,4,5,and 8 bay Burly enclosures. Should not be used to replace fans internal
to the power
supply.
- Vantec 8025 80 MM fan is a high tech, low noise replacement
upgrade for all 80MM requirements. Has 4 pin Molex pass-through connector.
- Vantec 12025120 MM fan is high tech, low noise replacement
fan for the
120 MM Rack Mount enclosure fan.
Has
a 4 pin Molex pass-through connector.
- Vantec 6025 60 MM fan. High tech low noise 2700 RPM replacement
- fits 1 Bay Burly. 4 Pin Molex pass through connector.

Firewire Bridges
- DOIF8UC-S Oxford 924 - Firewire 800 - USB2 to SATA Hard Drive Bridge Board
on Centronics mounting plate. Board has 2 internal SATA ports and can connect to 2 drives.
- UF-SATA202 JMicron Firewire/USB to SATA Port Multiplier on centronics plate.
Connects with port multiplier ST-126L sold below. Firewire bridge has single internal SATA port that will only connect with SATA port multiplier.

Port Multiplier replacement boards and upgrade kits
Port Multiplier boards uss 3726 Silicon Image chip set. Incorporates 5
internal SATA connections to connect up to 5 SATA drives, and either 1 eSATA external
connection or one internal 'host' connector for use with a FW to SATA port multiplier bridge. Boards are mounted on a plate that will
attach to a Centronics cutout in the back of the Burly enclosures.
