The PowerBook modules on this page are specifically designed to support:

• PowerBook 3400/180

• PowerBook 3400c/200

Note: PowerBook 3400's have one memory expansion slot.

The maximum configuration of 144MBs is achieved by installing a single 128MB upgrade module. For other configuration options, specifications, and configuration guidance, please see the PowerBook 3400 motherboard drawing.

¹ Please be advised that 64MB modules for PowerBook 3400 come in two distinct configurations: one which does not comply with Apple specifications in terms of form factor and module density, and one which fully and completely complies. Pricing above is for the non-compliant module, as it is substantially more affordable.

All other 3400-series memory sold by MacGurus fully complies with Apple specifications. MacGurus offers the non-compliant 64MB modules for sale on equal terms, covered by our standard hardware warranties. No performance penalties appear to be incurred through the use of these non-standard 64MB modules, but it must be stressed that MacGurus accepts no responsibility for possible, potential, or actual damage to your hardware.

MacGurus highly advises that all owners of PowerBook 3400-series computers considering the purchase of 64MB modules review this document and make an informed buying decision.
