SATA eSATA Logo
All PCIe Macs and PCs
Mac Pro Compatible!

PCI Express LogoSupports up to 2 External Hard Drives
For Mac OS10.4 or 10.5 - Windows 2k, XP and Vista

CalDigit PCI Express Port Mutilplier Host Card     2 External SATA ports for the MacPro, PCIe equipped Dual Core G5s and for PCIe PCs. CalDigit gives us a high performance card for a great price. Capable of running with every hard drive we have tested. HotSwap capable.

This SATA host card is not port multiplier capable. To run MacGurus Port Muliplier Enclosures you will want the CalDigit 4 port card.

This is the perfect card for adding just one or two external hard drives. Fast and very capable, we give this card two thumbs up.

Compatible with

-MacPro and late model G5 Dual Core with PCIe slot

      -Windows PCs
running 2000, XP or Vista with PCIe slot

For all your storage needs!

SATA Type A eSATA PhotoeSATA Ports:

eSATA, a new external connection method for the SATA specification, is used on this card. More robust and better grounded, these connectors are the wave of the future. Be aware though, confusion is also going to be common as the eSATA connectors are VERY similar in appearance to the current SATA Type A connectors more commonly being used. Use of an eSATA to eSATA external cable is currently needed to connect to the MacGurus Burly. Be sure to select eSATA cables when ordering a companion Burly to go with your FASTA-2e host card.
