  This super strong steel enclosure, easy to access, rackmount SATA 4U enclosure is fully assembled and ready to hang. Meeting SATAII and SATAI specification, the highest quality cabling is used.

  Already assembled with 8 top quality SATA Hotswap Bays and cables. These bays each have an additional cooling fan and fully surround your drives in an aluminum tray with great heat transfer capabilities. Your drives are going to stay their coolest! Available with optional LCD readout trays with temperature monitoring and audible alarm.

  Order your SATA Drives with the enclosure and we will install them for you. We offer the best performing and highest reliability drives on the market today. In 250GB through 750GB for totals of 2 through 6 TeraBytes of storage.

  This enclosure ships included with your choice of external cables. Connectors are eSATA at the back of the enclosure. Check your SATA host card to determine connector type before ordering cables. For eSATA connector equipped host cards select the eSATA option in either 1 or 2 meter length. Note: Sonnet Tempo 8X SATA Host Cards and the excellent Lycom eSATA RAID cards for PCs are eSATA and require these cables.

  Some host cards are SATA TypeA. If you are connecting to a card that uses TypeA cables then select the eSATA to TypeA cable option. These are the exact same cable as the eSATA to eSATA and will operate at the same speeds but connect to a TypeA connector at the computer. The SATAPort Adapter is TypeA and will require the use of these cables.
